ABOUT US:

Justice Records is a small, independent record store located in Mount Pleasant, MI. We carry new and used vinyl, books, CDs, cassettes, and we buy and trade items as well. While specializing in Punk/Hardcore, Indie, Metal, and Hip-Hop, we also carry all other forms of music (Classic Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Big Band, Spoken Word, Comedy, etc.) We also special order anything we can find, at no extra charge.
...And that’s just the beginning!

We regularly have live music of all genres playing, with shows usually running at least once a week. Touring bands from literally all over the world have played here already, with no end in sight! Shows are run with a strong DIY ethic, and are typically donation-based. We also use the shop as a community space, where we have art shows, book readings, Mt Pleasant Free School meetings, potlucks, small parties, and other events!

On top of all that, the Mount Pleasant Bike Cooperative is located in our basement, where anyone can come and learn how to build and work on their bicycles. There are plenty of tools and bike parts to get started!

We opened January 4th, 2010, and our goal has been to help bring together the Mount Pleasant Music, Arts, and local DIY community, and to promote positive change in all aspects of our lives and culture.
